“Does the case have enough overhang on the front to protect the edges of the screen? I'm wary of curved glass displays for their propensity of breaking along the curve, and I'd like to be sure this case alleviates that problem.”

• It does. However this is not a military grade protection. It is aesthetically very pleasing, but if you want better protection which compromises the aesthetics, consider dbrand.

• Yes. It is millimeters higher than the glass face; enough of a lip you can feel it with a fingertip. I've used the case for a couple years and haven't seen any damage to my device's edges. I frequently lay the phone screen down.
