Case has button covers that go over phone buttons. Usually I don’t mind button covers but I found my phone was not as responsive while I had this case on and I had to mash the buttons pretty hard sometimes.

Yes, the lock button & volume button still work great. The silence button is exposed & you can reach it still. I have had a few times where I have to pay attention when plugging in the charger into the phone as it will not plug all the way in but that hasn’t been a problem charging.
