A:AnswerIt could be a problem. Part of Apple's solution to making the Series 2 waterproof was by making the speaker so it could "blast" a short sound through the speaker to clear the water. If the case covers the speaker, it could prohibit the watch from clearing the speaker of water and allow enough time for the water to find its way into the case. I'd check with the company that makes it to see if they think it's safe to use it.
