“I need a cassette player/recorder for the older, larger cassettes that measure 2 1/2 by 4 inches. I can't find any specifications for this recorder and am trying to find out the size cassette it holds.”

yep, this is the one that takes the size you specified.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The cassettes I purchased for this unit measured 2 1/2 x 4" - the same as you mentioned. They were Maxwell UR 90 min tapes from Malelo & Co. The player/recorder works very well. I use it to record my grandson's stories. It's a very nice unit for the price.
