A:AnswerThanks for your help. I found out the adapter is bad. My husband jiggled it and it worked but once he stopped jiggling it, it stopped working.
I am going to return it and get a new one.

A:AnswerIf you are just recording you are best to go with a little digital recorder, but if you have to have one to play existing tapes good luck with that. I have not seen one in years. You might do better trying to find someone that still has an old answering machine that still uses that size tapes and play them through it..
