Yes, the case is the same size as version one

The case can be used with both airpods....wireless and cord charging AirPods.

It is but the light on the front of the 2nd gen charging case would be obstructed and you would have to look on iPhone to see how far along they’re charged

Yes, at least the version that plugs into charge. Don’t know about wireless versions.
