- Answer The Travel Scope National Park Foundation 60mm has a 2.4" objective lens compared to the 70mm model with a 2.8" objective lens for light gathering ability. The 60mm model comes with bonus accessories such as a flashlight, compass, and a free download of the National Parks Guidebook, while the 70mm Travel Scope DX model comes with a smartphone adapter and a bluetooth shutter release. - Answer The Travel Scope NPF 60 has enough light gathering ability to clearly show detailed view of the moon's craters and brighter planets, including Mars during its opposition. From a dark sky site, this telescope will also reveal brighter galaxies, globular clusters, and nebulae.
