Not enough info or unclear. Are you saying that you don't have a garage door opener? This product won't help that unless you get an actual garage door opener with the Q technology already in it. If your garage door opener works from your remote, then this should work unless it is on the list of door openers that it doesn't work on. Just go to the website and scroll and click until you get to the list of openers.
