Anybody had rust problems whit this model ? Thanks null

The spots that are appearing on the bottom of the Chefman Electric Kettle are NOT RUST. They are usually mineral deposits due to the high mineral content in the water which differs state by state and district by district. The marks should disappear if the kettle is washed or cycled with some acidic cleaner (a mixture of 50% white vinegar and 50% water).

Yes I’ve had rust problems with my Chefman water kettle. I heard the same thing about it not being rust, but “minerals.” I’ve cleaned mine with 50%viinegar and water. It help a lil bit and the rust/ minerals are right back. I can’t believe that the stuff at the bottom is healthy fo me.

Yes. The rust is appearing just above the heating elements. We do not have 'hard' water (i.e. not full of minerals such as calcium carbonate etc) where we live, and it is definitely rust as opposed to mineral deposits that arw showing. The kettle is only a few months old. Didn't have this issue with any of our previous kettles.
