A:AnswerIt uses K cup hard pods, soft filter pods, and has a filter cup included to use ground coffee, too. For the price this is cool little unit. Weighs so little I took it on a flight for an island vacation! We enjoyed all our favorite K cups whenever instead of firing up the big coffee maker.
A:AnswerI just solved the same problem. The plunger that punctures the pod was plugged. Coffee pot cleaner didn’t work so I disconnected the lid by prying off the connecting arm with a screw driver so I could the remove the upper assembly. Then I used the screw driver to pry off the rubber connecting tube. Then I pushed a small drill bit through the puncture tit and a plug of coffee grounds came out. Reassemble and it works fine.
A:AnswerForcing the on switch to make coffee before the water is hot enough, will trip the thermal overload, and kill it. My husband did it. Now bought a Kureig, an plans to fix the Chefman later.
A:AnswerYes it takes about a minute to brew and the on button is touchy. It turns on when power is applied to the outlet if left plugged in. Mine is in my boat and there is not always power to that outlet so if I don’t unplug it it turns on on it’s own once there is power.
