“I set a timer and cook my food. When the timer runs out, it automatically sets another timer for thirty minutes and the temperature goes down to 145 degrees. Is this normal or is my unit defective?”

This is normal. Ours does the same thing .. I think it’s just a keep warm mode
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This is normal for this unit. It is a warmer feature so that your food doesn't get cold, but also not too hot so that it shouldn't cause it to continue cooking, or even burn.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's normal. The blue light goes off letting you know the heating source has turned off. Your unit is now cooling down for the next 30 minutes. It will divert back to preset temp and time afterwards and be ready for the next usage.
