“Does the stainless steel insert have a coating on it that "peels" or scrapes off?”

• Our pot No.RJ 15-6-DC is flaking BIG TIME! The metal under the Teflon coating is not stainless steel! This does not appear to be safe. Where can we get the liner "recoated"? We like the pot otherwise! THANKS

• We have only used it a few times. But it seems durable and if you follow manufacturers instructions I believe it will last a long time.

• It has a non-stick coating but the only thing we found that ruins the coating is mold. We used ours heavy duty until it got lost with food in it and created mold then the coating bubbled and started to come off.

• there is a coating, and after months of use, none has come off, and won't as long as you use only a soft rag and dish soap-no dishwasher
