It works. You have to read the instructions carefully and make sure the dial is turned to airfryer and the clock timer is set for the time recommended

My air fryer setting works just fine. Perhaps you just received a defective unit? I would definitely reach out to the store you bought it from too see if it would be possible to replace it.
