You need home wifi for this to work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The chime wi fi extender worked for me 100%. Had been having problems with doorbell, it had practically stopped working. I plugged in the chime wi fi extender and have not had a problem since. Connectivity was easy. My Ring is connected to both my IPhone and IPad. The notification “There is motion at your front door” is very clear. The chime can be heard very clearly. Worth the $50.00
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Ring Doorbell will work with a Personal Hotspot using cell data. I did it with Tech Support when working on a problem with a Ring Doorbell. That is only a temporary solution for testing. The doorbell needs a constant internet connection to work properly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you mean that the ring chime pro won't chime if there's an alert? If so I don't think that it's internet related. I believe that it's connected via your wifi to the ring doorbell.
