Hi - the screen is the only part of the CLMBR that requires power. You can climb with out it, but you will be unable to see metrics. The machine itself is completely self-regulated.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The monitor requires the power, BUT it is somehow connected to the machine. For example, when you are climbing, you can see your tempo, reach and resistance level on the monitor. I have tried it with the monitor turned off. It seems to work and the resistance does change. Please note, the power was not unplugged. Only the monitor was turned off.
