“I like to hook up a second monitor in the back but not sure what the other 3 slots are because it is not HDMI. If any help would be appreciated.”

Bones, Depending on the card, there would normally be 2 additional ports, one each DVI and DisplayPort. If your card has 4 ports total, with 1 HDMI and 3 others that are identical to each other, they would be DisplayPort ports.
