Matt1963, Thank you for your interest! When sold through Best Buy, our our offerings, including the accessories, are set. In cases where people have other input devices they prefer, the ones shipped with the system can serve as emergency backup. Also, while they are a dependable set of input devices, please know that even were we able to remove the keyboard and mouse, prior to the system being purchased, it would not significantly affect the price.
