• A:Answer The power supply is what supplies electrical power to the PC's components. The power supply is connected to a "cord" which then "plugs" into a source of electricity such as your home's wall socket or your grandpa's Honda generator. Is it quiet? I suppose it is quiet when you are playing your death and war games with a 5.1 sub-woofer sound system and gaming chairs with speakers facing your back + butt.
