• The only concern is whether their use in India is governed by laws like they are here in the states. Here, GMRS use requires FCC licensure whereas the FRS use does not (not that anybody follows the rules). These will absolutely WORK in India but they might just be ILLEGAL. Check their laws.

• Really. They are a two way radio. So long as you have the correct adapter for or they have the correct plug in to charge them, there is no reason they wouldn't work there as well as they would anywhere else.
