“Can the second cam be placed out side on mirror or will weather mess it up”

• I wouldn't recommend it. It only has a small piece of adhesive that is about one square inch. Also, it doesn't seem to be very waterproof.

• No, microphone holes gonna get wet and you will lose that camera

• No, it's not designed for external mounting, you'll get water into it and it will die. I mounted mine on inside of rear window offset from center and it gives good images but license plate numbers only show if the car is stopped directly behind me and in daylight or brilliant nightime lights only. I originally thought I might use it as a backup cam but no way. The screen is so small that it is unsafe to try to look at it while driving and really difficult to see any detail. I'm still very glad I bought this model with the rear camera option. Good luck!
