Q: QuestionI want to use this when the home power goes out. Can I buy a car battery and use that with this inverter in my home? How long will battery charges last before I have to buy a new one? Thanks.

- A:Answer You could, but it wont last long, this is made to be used hooked up to a 12v system, like a car that is being charged while in use by the alternator. It converts the 12v DC to 110 AC.

Q: QuestionCan this continually power a heater for my fish tank? I am going into 30 degree temperatures with a 60 degree minimum fish. I need to generate my own electricity.
