Hi Charly, It sounds like there may be something going on with the power source in the vehicle that would cut off power within 3-4 minutes of starting the vehicle. I would recommend checking to see if there is an alternate power source you could use in the vehicle to power the dash cam. Also, please ensure that all cables are attached properly and that there are no loose connection points. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The motion-detection setting turned on means it will record when activated for 3, 5, 10 min loops. If you turn off motion-detection it will record continuously for the set 3, 5, 10 min loops.
