A:AnswerThis remote start would not give you power windows nor locks because you don't have the parts for them in your jeep. You have to have motors for those things and you don't.
A:AnswerHi Barbara I’m responding to your comment, my wiring harness was free ( actually a penny ) if I remember right. It was ordered before my appointment and when it came in I was taken care of promptly. I guess maybe wherever you live the Best Buy there isn’t providing good customer service. I live in Bloomington IL and these guys ( Geek Squad ) are all about customer service. Had a Bluetooth stereo put in years ago there also and same great prompt service. SHOUT OUT TO THE BLOOMINGTON SQUAD hahahahaha you guys RaWK.
A:AnswerWhen you go to make your appointment you with have a part added to your cart that costs 12.99. So “technically” installation is free but you have to buy the final part to make an appointment. We didn’t end up needing that part, so the technician refunded us for it, hence making the installation completely free.
A:AnswerIt can be programmed to your factory fob, but I found that it doesn’t work as well as using the fob that comes with it because it sometimes doesn’t start!
A:AnswerYou can use your original FOBS as well they just won't be able to remote start it. I believe there are add on remotes that you can get as well.
A:AnswerIf you have the system installed on your car the car will run for 15 minutes unless you have it set for longer but your car only needs to run for about 15 minutes to warm up and cool down in the summer
A:AnswerI am sorry , I cannot answer your question, I do not own a Kia. Just visit Best Buy and they will give you the answer. I am very satisfied with my Security/remote starter installation.
