A:AnswerWhen I purchased this item the online price included the installation. (Free w purchase) A note of caution, check with your local Best Buy to see if their Geek Squad has installation bays. The store closest to me did not. We had to drive 25 mins to another store for the install. Not too bad of a drive, but if there isn’t another store one close by, you may need to either drive a distance or pay someone else to install. Be sure to order the T-harness & other recommended parts. Both came free when I ordered mine. If you don’t have the these parts, it may delay your installation. We had a great experience with the install team & love the product. Works great! And the 2way feature is nice. Good luck with your purchase.
A:AnswerNo. It will not. It will unlock the door with the buttons but not like the regular key fob that you can keep in your pocket. And they didn’t tell me but it shuts off the vehicle when you open the door if you have a push start vehicle. Not a deal breaker but annoying.
A:AnswerCheck to make sure there isn't a button somewhere in your car that you might have pushed by mistake, I had the same thing happen and I had turned off the button to raise the trunk lid. Check with your car dealership.

A:AnswerThere should be an area right by the remote starters to enter make and model of your car to see if it's compatible. However, you better go to the store and talk directly with the installers or you'll be like me and get told they don't have your harness in stock and cannot install the unit the day you came in to have it installed. Then they will reschedule you for a month later, or in my case three weeks "after" Xmas and midway through the winter, the main reason we're buying it for our daughter. My experience trying to purchase this product, schedule the install, and get it installed has been terrible so good luck!!
A:AnswerI have a 2006 Kia Sorento I got mine at Best Buy and it works perfect. I don't know why but I was told by The geek squad that sometimes it doesn't work for all cars have you talked to The geek squad? They have all the answers good luck.
