- Answer Dont buy it, we returned it within a week. It sucks bad. I meant to do a video review on my youtube channel, but it sucked so bad I didnt even bother

- Answer This does have to be plugged in...but it is safe. Has a long cord which we plug into a GFI outlet. It suction cups to the tub and it holds it in place.
