Depending on the distance the signal will degrade rapidly even using the best coaxial cable.

It really would depend on how far the hill is from your home where you want the booster to be and how strong of a signal you have where it's usable. This will determine how long of a cable run we need. If the length exceeds 100 ft then it might not be possible to place a booster since the longer the run is from the antenna to the booster, the more signal loss there is, meaning that there will be less signal for the booster to use and coverage will not be as good if there's any left. In order for us to accurately make an assessment of the area, we need to have decibel readings and the ft from the outside antenna area to the home. We are happy to help you where ever you need assistance. The best place to get this information would be to call into our Customer Support line at 866-294-1660 since they are ready available. We hope that you reach out to us! Thank you!
