Need a clear line to tower.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can only boost the amount of signal that you can receive. If you receive at least 2 bars of signal at the point of the external antenna, I think I'd keep the tree if you like the tree. If you can't get signal at the point of antenna, then the tree may have to go. Incidentally, the installation instructions from WeBoost instruct you to easily read the signal as a meter reading from your phone, which is more accurate that merely reading the "bars."
