Need a clear line to tower.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can only boost the amount of signal that you can receive. If you receive at least 2 bars of signal at the point of the external antenna, I think I'd keep the tree if you like the tree. If you can't get signal at the point of antenna, then the tree may have to go. Incidentally, the installation instructions from WeBoost instruct you to easily read the signal as a meter reading from your phone, which is more accurate that merely reading the "bars."
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your question! Trees can hinder signal, especially if they are fully bloomed. The best way to tell if the tree will bother the signal significantly is to take signal strength readings at the antenna location. We are happy to walk you through this testing. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Based on everything I read and what the company told me over the telephone you want a clear line of sight as much as possible. I cut down a small tree in front of mine and would suggest you do the same.
