You can use it with some limits depending on how much room you have. This vacuum don’t open flat but it’s enough to go under about 10-12”.

I use mine under my sofa and under the bed. It's better if you have hardwood floors, but it will do okay for low-pile rugs. It bends rather well to get under areas with a low clearance.

This product has some bend to it for cleaning under household objects.
