QuestionWhy is Corel moving to a subscription model? Not many people want to have to subscribe to use software! The reason a lot of us use Corel is because of the perpetual license. Do want to lose that edge?

QuestionI was on the Corel website comparing features to the subscription model. How long will this ownership software be updated and supported? Is it compatible with Ventura 13? Does it run native on the M! Mac?

- Answer In terms of ownership support, for the perpetual license the support is with service packs coming to you as need be for that version. The subscription model will ensure you always have the most up-to-date version for one year. The CorelDraw Graphics Suite 2021 has not been tested on Ventura 13. It is a natively run program for the Mac.

- Answer No Painter is a separate product from CorelDraw Graphics Suite. CorelDraw Graphics Suite does include Photo-Paint which is a photo editor while Painter is a natural media application.
