“If my laptop doesn't have a disk drive (nothing where I can insert a CD) will this software work? Does it come on a thumb drive? Can I download a digital copy instead?”

Several manufacturers make CD Rom drives that plug into a USB port, mine is by LG. Works great that's how I installed Paint Shop Pro on my laftop.
I would recommend:

Good morning - this product comes with a download option in the retail box. Alternatively you can purchase the digital download version directly from BestBuy.com.

You need to purchase an external cd/dvd drive which just plugs in to one of your USB ports. I purchased and highly recommend this one and it's great. It's on sale until 10/26 and gets over 2000 excellent reviews!

The Paint Shop Pro software I bought at Best Buy came with a cd. My laptop does not have a drive for a cd. I bought an external cd drive in order to upload the Paint Shop Pro software.
