“The information for this TV stand says it can hold a 55" TV. But the specs say the cabinet is only 39" wide. What size width TV can this stand realistically hold or is the cabinet wider than the specs say? I'm confused. Please clarify. Thank you.”

Curious, many 55" TV's will fit on this stand as most have legs that are positioned in from the edges of the TV. We would suggest checking the distance between the legs of your TV as well as the depth of the legs to be sure that the stand will work for your model. One other thing to consider is the "look" you want, a stand that is not as wide as your TV will give a modern "pedestal" look, where a stand that is the same width as your TV will give a sleek "full" look.
