Technically, it's a tad slower than the 1333 MHz RAM that is usually recommended for the 2011 MacBook Pro, but to be honest, you won't notice a tangible performance difference between the two. Check your local Best Buy to see what's available, though, because if you can get the 1333MHz DDR3 SODIMM RAM at the same price or less, you might as well go with that. But if this is a bit cheaper, save a few bucks and go with this, because as I said, the performance difference will be negligible.
