will this work with a MacBook air 2015 model? null

I'm not sure, I'm almost positive the memory on the mac air is soldered onto the main board, so it's not upgradeable

I don't think so because of the number of PINs required. I remember when I investigated my machine vs. the next on, the number of PINs changed. Plus with your machine you can go higher than 4GB.
