It depends on if the motherboard supports ddr4 or ddr5. This is ddr5 ram. It is a bit newer and pricier than ddr4.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on your motherboard. It will either support ddr3, ddr4 or ddr5 ram. There are several ways for you to check. The actual ram in your pc should have a label on it that will mention which type and speed it is. You can also check in Task Manager > Performance > Memory and see what speed your ram is running. DDR3 will run beteeen 1066-1866mhz, DDR4 between 2133-3200mhz, and DDR5 between 4800-8400mhz
