“I need to use this to send videos and having an issue with my mic on the lap top not being loud enough. Does this hook up with a USB or another adapter to plug directly into my laptop and or docking station?”

You'll need to purchase an enclosure. Be sure to get one that is USB 3.. There are still USB2 enclosures out there.

This has an aux cord that should plug straight into your computer. It's one plug for input and output. You may have to fiddle with the settings on your computer but it should work just fine. The mic picks up loud and clear.

This only plugs in directly to the laptop or another 3.5mm combo jack device (as well as dual jack device using the adapter).
