It depends on load and overall case ventilation. If it's not overclocked and and you have good case ventilation, you can probably get away with one in a pull configuration with air coming from outside the case.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It would be fine if you did that for an i7 as that is my current setup in my system. However, Corsair also makes a model that has just one fan as well, but you do not need to have a push/pull configuration in order for your CPU to be cooled.
