- Answer Hi, Glad to hear we've caught your interest! If you decide to upgrade this system's memory, you would need to buy a memory kit that will replace the existing memory modules. Having nonidentical memory modules installed may cause compatibility issues, leading to bottle necking and/or system instability. While purchasing the same exact model of RAM to upgrade may seem harmless, we have to account for the fact that memory module versions vary over time - making them nonidentical. We also carry additional configurations of the a7200 with higher memory capacity on our website.
