Check in the motherboard Bios/UEFI or the manual. Make sure your MB can make use of this memory's full speed and capacity. If you don't know how to access your MB Bios then look for a tutorial on youtube.

Please try again later.Typically the four slots are configured as two banks of two slots each (a low address memory set and a high address memory set), before removing the original memory from the system note where it is installed (usually the low set), that's where you want to install then new memory. If the existing memory is known good you might consider moving it to the remaining empty slots (the high set).
