Yes, it will work for the office but it's probably geared more towards gaming.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If your home phone set up is a VOIP service on the computer then it wouldn't be an issue. For anything else not on a Windows-PC then it wouldn't work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also work at home, I use a Citrix Client and connect to a virtual machine and do a lot of Skype meetings. My work supplies a Plantronics headset. But, I did try the Corsair gaming headset. The sound using the Corsair headset is great when I listen, but my coworkers tell me my mic has a bit of echo, not as good as the Plantronics. But, I have done this. I don't think I would recommend this as your sole solution if you talk to customers due to mic quality. But, it may work OK for you. Good luck.
