Why wouldn't this work with xbox one? null

They plug in via USB, that particular game system probably only outputs sound to the television it's plugged into and doesn't support USB audio.

This uses a USB transmitter and the Corsair software on your computer to connect to the headset.

It needs the drivers, and unfortunately Xbox really drops the ball in that department compared to PS4.

You can't use a bluetooth headset with the Xbox One. Headsets can only be connected to the Xbox One Wireless Controller. The Xbox One console does not feature Bluetooth functionality.
