“Somewhere I read that they also came with a Glass Lid for when you Slow Cook or just to store in frig.....but I see this one does not list an extra lid. Does someone know IF one can purchase one from the company or after market product that will work?”

• the metal lid is needed to tightly secure it for the pressure/steam buildup. a glass lid would not work under pressure but would be nice to store cooked food in the inner vessel in the fridge:-)

• The user manual says that a glass cover can be purchased from CrockPot.
