Can o use this on the ps5? null

Sony has not released an update allowing you to utilize the ssd expansion yet

Thank you for reaching out and for your question. Part number CT1000P5SSD8 will in fact work in the expansion slot on your PS5, but I do not believe that Sony currently has that SSD slot active. From what I have read online, Sony will activate that slot at a later time with a firmware update so I would recommend reaching out to Sony directly to find out if you are now able to add SSD upgrades to this slot before purchasing. If they say yes, then our drive will be a perfect addition to your new PS5 system. Have a great day!

This M.2 is not fast enough for PS5 in order to run PS5 games also 1Tb is not enough for today's game you will run out of space quick, better look for a 2TB or lager if money is not an issues. PS5 M.2 speed minimum need 5.5 GB/s and this M.2 only 3.4GB/s.
