A:AnswerDefinitely not. The only part anodized is the outer shell which does nothing for performance and it doesn't transfer heat well. With my SS set or cast iron I can brown ground beef in 10 min, with this set it took around 20min and still wasn't as browned as I wanted and with a higher temp setting. You'd figure a $299 set of cookware would be real anodized instead of just a dash of performance material. I got mine as a DoD so I'm keeping it.
