You can grill almost anything from steaks to sausages. The plates can be turned over to cook eggs etc. I use mine for anything i can think of to grill. Regarding the teflon, I have grilled several steaks with the bone in on it and it was fine. I hope that helps with you decision.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Have not tried any meat with bone in. I closed the grill when I grilled the chicken. It was moist and flavorful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, if the bone is not more than about one inch thick. I would position bone-in meat more toward the front and center of the griddle to allow maximum movement of the upper grill plate. Smaller, thin pieces of meat, (chops) won't present much of a problem and will cook surprisingly fast. Enjoy! PS Fresh herbs or marinading add lots of interest and go well with grilling flavors. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn’t recommend it for steaks and burgers. Plates are cheap, light weight. Heat is not distributed evenly and some parts are hotter than another. You can’t get that brown crust on steak and burgers.
