Can set the grinder to go off at a specific time? null

According to Joe424 this machine can be set to grind and brew in the early morning right before you need to listen to an alarm clock. While he was annoyed at "How Loud" the grinding was, his review indicated that the grinding started when the preset (24 hour) timer went off. I am doing my 'due diligence' reading other purchaser's reviews to determine if this is a viable option for me. It seems to require daily or every other day cleaning of the grind chamber and port to the filter area. And the door latches may be a little weak - just so you are aware. Many very good reviews - let me rephrase - many very pleased reviews of this programmable grind & brew drip coffee maker. And hey, right now the price seems quite right! But after 34 months, I presume you aren't interested in the answer anymore.

Yes, you are able to program the time for which you would like your machine to begin brewing coffee. To set up a program time, hold down the "program" button until the time begins to flash. At this point, press and hold down the "hour" button until you reach your desired hour (be sure you pay attention to AM or PM). Then, while it is still flashing under the program function, press the "minute" button to complete the selection of your desired start time. When the time stops flashing, it will revert back showing you the current time. Just press the program button, you will briefly see the "program" time that you selected and the light will turn green. It is now set to begin brewing at your programmed time. Just a word of warning. IF you set the timer for early in the morning (we do often). You might want to grind the beans when you are preparing the coffee pot for brewing the night before. After you grind the beans, turn OFF the grind button. Otherwise, the loud grinding of the beans will be your wake-up call. And don't forget to push off after grinding, I've done that too. Nice pot of coffee as we are headed to bed :}
