A:Answer According to Joe424 this machine can be set to grind and brew in the early morning right before you need to listen to an alarm clock. While he was annoyed at "How Loud" the grinding was, his review indicated that the grinding started when the preset (24 hour) timer went off. I am doing my 'due diligence' reading other purchaser's reviews to determine if this is a viable option for me.
It seems to require daily or every other day cleaning of the grind chamber and port to the filter area. And the door latches may be a little weak - just so you are aware. Many very good reviews - let me rephrase - many very pleased reviews of this programmable grind & brew drip coffee maker. And hey, right now the price seems quite right!
