Does the exterior get quite hot to the touch? null

I have not found that the exterior to be to hot after using.

I don't think so, but I only use it for myself so one toasting at a time. I don't believe you'd have a problem. All toasters need to heat up, so caution is always good - but this one doesn't seem to have any unusual problems.

It gets warm to the touch during use.

This toaster does not get hot to touch which is a great feature for parents and grandparents.
