Q: QuestionI lost power and the battery backup didn't work. Everything went down. Does the internal battery need to be replaced?
Asked by clb.
- A:Answer Eventually yes the battery will need replacing. But you should get several years before that happens. If it’s a newer unit my only guess it’s overloaded and the battery cannot power what you have plugged in. Only other option is a defective battery.

Q: QuestionCan i use this to power my router so my security cameras stay on ,they are arlo and blink.
Asked by Powerout.
- A:Answer I have my Blink hub along with my Fios router and Abode security system hub on this UPS. This will keep them up BUT if your Internet goes down as well Blink will not be able to upload video. Blink does not cache. The UPS will keep my Abode security system up an running even with an Internet outage as it uses wireless phone service as a backup. I cannot speak to Arlo.

Q: QuestionHow much battery backup time is provided?
Asked by Tommy.
- A:Answer It depends on how much is plugged into the unit, I have a desktop PC and a 23 inch monitor plugged into mine and get an approximate runtime of 102 minutes, I have not tested the entire runtime but it is more than adequate for me to finish my work and properly shut down.

Q: QuestionIt keeps beeping how do turn it pff
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Beeping is a sign that the unit isn't receiving power from the wall plug, but is turned on. If you just want to remove the unit from power & not use it - turn it off with the power button (hold for 3 seconds). If it's during a power outage and you want to continue providing power to your plugged in devices without the noise - press the Mute button.
