This unit can support 150W continuous load placed on the car inverter, laptop chargers are inverters themselves and are looking for pure sinewave power, whereas this device can supply simulated sinewave, so the charger may try to draw more power than it would originally expect. It honestly just comes down to trying it and seeing if it works
