Try a direct Ethernet cable for better speeds and connection, Wi-Fi tends to be unreliable at times when multiple users are active on the same router so that could explain it. Otherwise I would suggest getting Wi-Fi extenders for your living space, which you can also plug Ethernet cables in for secure connections.
